Homeschooling is a part of strengthening the God ordained family in His Kingdom. This reveals a major component of who we are as a church. We are committed to inspire, equip, and advance homeschooling.

This provides children with a biblically grounded and historically accurate education. Plus, it creates a multi-generational Kingdom vision and mission to pass on to our posterity.

At ARC, we believe one of the best ways to advance the Kingdom of Christ is to convince Christian families to come out from amongst government sponsored schools to homeschool their children as God has commanded. Education is not just a learning issue, it is a jurisdictional issue. The one government that God as assigned to educate children is not the state or the church, but family government. The church can help supplement, but never replace the parents as the primary teachers that raise their children in the fear and admonishing of the Lord. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Deuteronomy 32:46-47)

Whether you’ve been homeschooling for years or are just getting started, ARC is here to support both your child’s education and your role as parents being their chief instructors. We believe for a community where families come together to grow, learn, glorify God and advance His kingdom in the earth.

Kendra Thomas

Pastor's wife, Kendra Thomas, is firmly rooted in the homeschool movement. Her passion for educating the next generation runs deep. As one of the first legal homeschooler in America, her story has opened doors for educational freedom across the nation. After her mother, Elaine, made a successful plea to the Barnstable Public School District, Kendra and her sister Kim were granted legal permission to homeschool—the first legal approval for homeschooling in America. This pivotal moment changed education for families in their state and beyond.

With homeschooling now legally recognized, Kendra has devoted herself to showing others how this educational path could be accessible and transformative. Her mission is to empower families, ensuring that children receive an education rooted in both academic excellence and biblical values.

As a passionate writer, Kendra is eager to help children discover the importance of reading, writing, and building a strong foundation in Scripture. She’s excited to partner with families in Brevard County, guiding children through their homeschooling journeys and fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Kendra can’t wait to meet you and help your children thrive through homeschooling!
